On January 13, eights days after the Christmas, the Armenian Apostolic Church celebrates the Feast of Naming our Lord Jesus Christ. That day, a Festive Divine Liturgy is offered in all Armenian Apostolic Churches. Etchmiadzin’s St. Gayane: by the presidency of the Armenian Patriarch, a Divine Liturgy was offered by Very Rev. Fr. Zakaria Baghumyan.

On the Feast of Holy Nativity, The clergy of Ararat Marz visited the children of Kharberd Orphanage
On the occasion of the Feast of Holy Nativity, the children of Kharberd Specialized Orphanage were visited by the Dean of Ararat Marz Bishop Gevorg Saroyan, the spiritual pastors of St. Gevork Church of Marmarashen and St. Thadeus Church of Masis. Meeting of Catholicos of All Armenians with Staff of the Mother See
The Catholicos of All Armenians offered his congratulations on the occasion of the Feasts of New Year and Christmas to the staff of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. New Year gifts around the hospitable table of the Holy Etchmiadzin
On the night of December 31, only few hours before the church bells signal the start of the new year, by the presidency of Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II all Diocesan leaders, the clergy, the officials of the Mother See, seminarians, professors gather in the cafeteria of the Mother See. This year they hosted the children of “Kyurkchyan” Child Support Center. The most loved part of the New Year night at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin is the humorous jokes of the seminarians.

5th International Festival of Modern Art and Spiritual Films “Fresco” was launched
On June 22, the 5th International Festival of Modern Art and Spiritual Films “Fresco” kicked off. The ten-day festival takes place both in Yerevan as well as in historical cultural places of regions. This years the festival includes 28 films from 13 countries.

The master classes organized by Armenian-German Music Union were finalized by a concert.
Three-day master classes of Armenian-German Music Union took place at Komitas Chamber Music House of Yerevan attended by Maria-Elisabeth Lott, professor of Detmold Conservatory. All participants of the project took part in the final concert of master classes performing compositions of Armenian and foreign composers.
