With the support of Canadian-Armenian philanthropists Diana and Tigran Hajetyans, the medieval complex of Noravank was reconstructed in 1999. In the calendar of the Armenian Church, that day coincides with Sunday of the World Church (Green Sunday) and is traditionally considered the Pilgimage day of Noravank.
