The first republican competition after Lusine Zakaryan was held at the Arabkir Orphanage on the initiative of the "Tenor" Cultural Non-Governmental Organization and with the support of the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory.

On July 23, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin  a presentation entitled "The Church and Constitutional Culture" was held at the "Vache and Tamar Manukyan" Matenadaran, under the high presidency of the Catholicos of All Armenians. The collection "Commonwealth Bylaw of the Armenians" published by the publishing house of the Mother See and "Collective monograph on the value roots of the constitutional culture in the folds of the millennial annals of the Armenian people" was presented.

The publishing house of the Mother See has published a translation of Stavros Kalandzakis' study "Introduction to the Old Testament".  The book of the Greek biblical scholar was translated from the Greek original by Rev. Fr. Gabriel Vardanyan.

Araratian Diocese youth unions were on a pilgrimage to Harichavank.

The yard of St. John the Evangelist Church in Artashat is filled with children from early morning until noon.

On July 15, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, hosted members of the Student Council of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia. Speaking about the losses suffered by the Armenian people after the Artsakh war, His Holiness urged the young people not to despair, not to retreat in the face of challenges, but to pursue education, engage in the work of homeland building with knowledge and skills, thus perpetuating the memory of their fallen friends.

Vardavar is one of the most popular feasts, rich in various folk rituals. In the Yeghipatrush village, the feast started with a traditional lavash baking ceremony.

This year the Feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord Jesus Christ or Vardavar will be celebrated on July 11. According to the church order, the feast has a weekly fasting, and Remembrance of the Dead.

People's Master Tamara Atanasyan is a chemist by profession, she has worked in "Nairit" factory for 25 years. After retiring, she decided to continue the handicraft she inherited from her mother - embroidery.
