Yerevan Book Festival-2021 ․ "Become the Breath of Time"


This year the book festival takes place in three buildings at once: the Artists' Union, where there is a fair with up to 40% discount, the "Zangak" bookstore, where there are lectures and master classes and at the "Moscow" cinema.

"The Church and Constitutional Culture" Presentation at the Mother See


On July 23, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin  a presentation entitled "The Church and Constitutional Culture" was held at the "Vache and Tamar Manukyan" Matenadaran, under the high presidency of the Catholicos of All Armenians. The collection "Commonwealth Bylaw of the Armenians" published by the publishing house of the Mother See and "Collective monograph on the value roots of the constitutional culture in the folds of the millennial annals of the Armenian people" was presented.

Stavros Kalandzakis' study "Introduction to the Old Testament" has been translated into Armenian


The publishing house of the Mother See has published a translation of Stavros Kalandzakis' study "Introduction to the Old Testament".  The book of the Greek biblical scholar was translated from the Greek original by Rev. Fr. Gabriel Vardanyan.

On July 15, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, hosted members of the Student Council of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia. Speaking about the losses suffered by the Armenian people after the Artsakh war, His Holiness urged the young people not to despair, not to retreat in the face of challenges, but to pursue education, engage in the work of homeland building with knowledge and skills, thus perpetuating the memory of their fallen friends.

People's Master Tamara Atanasyan is a chemist by profession, she has worked in "Nairit" factory for 25 years. After retiring, she decided to continue the handicraft she inherited from her mother - embroidery.

A collection of documents dedicated to Archbishop Nerses Melik-Tankian has been published


The new volume of the "Documents on the History of the Armenian Church" series is dedicated to Archbishop Nerses Melik-Tankyan, member of the Brotherhood of Holy Etchmiadzin and prominent national figure. 
Documents dedicated to the life and activities of the archbishop are presented, as well as the memoirs of contemporaries.
