Nigavan


Our heroes are the residents of Nigavan village – a teacher, a benefactor, a pupil, and a priest. They tell about their village and the only church of their village St. Stepanos (Stephen). 
The village was established by immigrant Armenians and constructed the church through fund raising. 
The church was destroyed during the Soviet years and was in the danger of complete destruction. 
From 2000, the renovation of the church was assumed by the village resident Varuzhan Adamyan. For around 15 years of works St. Stepanos was fully renovated. The church is always crowded, especially with children. The children believe in the miraculous power of the church and tell different stories about it.

The advertisement boards spread across different areas of the capital feature Holy Scriptures. They are mainly on humanity, mutual kind and tolerant attitude, peace. The initiative to place messages from the Holy Bible belongs to Armen Shahbazyan.

Under the presidency of the Pontiff of All Armenians, the teaching and administration staff of Gevorkian Theological Seminary finalized the results of 2016-2017 academic year. During the meeting the students’ knowledge, behavior, the subjects taught, evaluation system, attendance of both students and professors and other issues were thoroughly scrutinized, where the teaching and administration staff equally spoke about gaps and achievements. 
Second part of the meeting was dedicated to the issues of Priest Auditorium. 

 

Another academic year finalized in Gevorkian Theological Seminary


Gevorkian Theological Seminaryfinalized the results of 2016-2017 academic year. The rector of the Seminary presented the end-year results of institution to the Supreme Pontiff and summed up the educational-cultural activities of the Seminary.

60 year old path of Father Mambre


It’s been 60 years, since Father Mambre Kuzuyan carries the pallium of priest on his shoulders.

On the Feast of Saint Gayane and Her Companions the Holy Relic was conveyed to St. Gayane Monastery


On June 13, Armenian Apostolic Church commemorated the sacred feast dedicated to the memory of St. Gayane and her companion nuns. In the morning, the ecclesiastical procession headed to the Monastery of Saint Gayane, taking the Holy Relic kept in the Mother Seetogether with numerous pilgrims.
