This year, on January 15 the Armenian Apostolic Church celebrated the birthday of John the Baptist Forerunner. That day is also the day of naming all bearing the name Hovhannes. The churches bearing the name Hovhannes become especially crowded on this Feast.

On September 30, the believers’ community congregated in St. Gevorg Church of the village Garnahovit, Aragatsotn Marz, to celebrate The Feast of St. Gevork the Captain and consecration of baptism pool. The reliquary of the saint was brougt from the Mother See.

Lmbat Monastery Pilgrimage Day was Celebrated at Artik Diocese
The first Saturday of October is traditionally the Lmbat Monastery or St. Stephen's Pilgrimage Day. Relic of St. Stephen was brought to Lmbat Monastery from the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, a liturgy was served, and a ceremony of blessing of the four corners of the Earth was held.
