In 2013, April 16-20 Armenia hosted the first International Poetry Festival gathering 100 poets from 30 countries of the world. The program initiated by the RA Ministry of Culture and the Union of Writers included a range of events - readings, presentations, literary discussions in various cities, sight-seeing and close interactions.
The festival was an opportunity to expand the borders of cognition both for the foreign, as well as the Armenian participants.
