Catholicos of All Armenians Receives Deputies of the 9th Convocation of the National Assembly

On August 2, Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, received the deputies of the “Strong Armenia” and “Armenia” factions of the 9th convocation of the National Assembly at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The Armenian Patriarch conveyed his greetings and blessing to the deputies, emphasizing that for known reasons he was unable to participate in the inaugural session of the National Assembly according to the established procedure and established tradition and bring the blessings of Holy Etchmiadzin and his Pontifical message to the deputies. His Holiness instructed to be guided by a high consciousness of the implementation of national common goals, to serve the people as an example with fairness, decency and honesty. His Holiness emphasized that the Church must continue to support the Armenian state with its capabilities in all good achievements aimed at ensuring the well-being and progress of our nation, the strengthening and brightness of the homeland.
