On August 27, under the presidency of His Grace Bishop Hovnan Hakobyan, Grand Sacristan of the Mother Seeof Holy Etchmiadzin; the consecration of the Cross of the bell tower of the Mother Cathedral was offered. The previous one was supposedly installed in the 17th century, it was in a rather dilapidated condition. Restoring architect Amiran Badishyan created the new bronze cross almost repeating the previous one.
