The opening of 15th International Music Festival “Yerevan Prospects” was vested in the State Youth Orchestra of Armenia. As proposed by the world-known composer Krzysztof Penderecki, his Polish compatriot, Bartosz Koziak also performed with the Youth Orchestra.
Gafesjian Art Center never saw this many people. The audience was eager to attend the concert dedicated to the great composer Penderecki even on foot.
“I have worked with a number of Choirs, but none had the level and sound that the Choir “Hover has”, - stated Krzysztof Penderecki in one of his interviews. The concert of the Choir and the SYOA with the participation of famous flutist Massimo Mercelli.
On January 16, the stage of Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall housed State Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia. During the evening, symphonic pieces by Penderecki were performed.
