From 1966, one of the key international music MIDEM gathers the titans of world music industrytogether in Cannes. These day, epochal contracts are signed, the directions of music art development are outlined, music equipment, new discs, copyrights are sold, art managers share their experience with the audience, lectures and master classes are delivered. This year the hotspot of MIDEM was Armenia with its status as an honorary guest.

Leading conductor of Russian Orchestra and artistic director of Moscow Virtuosi chamber orchestra Vladimir Spivakov had three concerts in Yerevan with the Russian National Orchestra. The concerts were held within the scope of International Festival “Vladimir Spivakov Invites” dedicated to the centenary of the Armenian Genocide.
