Candlelight Divine Liturgy in St. Sarkis Church of Yerevan
The Candlelight Divine Liturgy was offered in St. Grigor Lusavorich Church of Ararat Patriarchal Diocese under the presidency of Archbishop Navasard Kchoyan, the celebrant being Father Shahe Hayrapetyan. The Candlelight of Holy Nativity is traditionally attended by the President Serzh Sargsyan, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, Mayor of Yerevan city Taron Margaryan and other officials.

Primate of Tavush Diocese paid pastoral visit to 30 Diocesan villages taking New Year presents
To congratulate the New Year and Christmas of the residents of borderland villages in Tavush Diocese, Primate of Tavush Diocese Bishop Bagrat Galstanyan initiated a visit to over 30 villages taking presents there. The festive action of the bishop was joined by Pyunik Foundation for the Disabled, WCC Round Table Foundation, World Vision Armenia, Karas Food Chain, a number of individuals, as well as the Social Services Center of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

Replications of two famous khachkars (cross-stones) in Western Armenian were installed in Holy EtchmReplications of two famous khachkars (cross-stones) in Western Armenian, weighing 12 and 14 tones, were installed in Holy Etchmiadzin adjacent to Yeremian cells of the Mother See and overlooking Vatche and Tamar Manoukian Library. The consecration of these khachkars dedicated to the centenary of the Armenian Genocide will be made by the Patriarch of All Armenians, on September 28, following the blessing of Holy Muron.

Collection of archived documents on the blessing of Holy Muron dating back to the previous century tA new publication has been launched by the joint efforts of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and the National Archives of Armenia on the certificates of the Muron blessing starting from the past century up to 2008. It turns out that the idea to have a Muron cauldron originated from Raphael Patkanian. The book will for the first time ever feature the photo of the cauldron of the Holy Muron.

Feast of Assumption of the Holy Mother of God in the Church Holy Mother of God of AparanEvery year, on the Feast of Assumption of the Holy Mother of God, the Chapel built in Kasakh canyon receives hundreds of pilgrims. This prayer place was built in this location according to a vision of one of the believers. Today, a khachkar-memorial was opened next to the Church. Father MusheVahanyan offered grape-blessing service and claimed for the intercession of the Holy Mother for everyone.
