Summer camps in Gugark Diocese.

 

By the blessing of Gugark Diocese Archbishop Sebou Chouldjian, Vanadzor Community Development Center and “Extend Your Hand” Charity Program brought together around fifty families under the roof of Vanadzor St. Grigor Narekatsi Church. His Holiness Sebou wished those gathered in the Church to overcome the economic hardships and prosperous life. He blessed the participants and  thanks all those whose efforts made this assistance possible.

Many doors have for a while been closed behind them, yet the narrow trapdoor of hope is still open to allow love and warmth penetrate into, were they to believe and repent for the sins they’ve committed.  Spiritual pastor of Vanadzor St. Grigor Narekatsi Church Father Vahan Azaryan paid a visit to Vanadzor Penitentiary Institution of the Ministry of Justice with the goods tiding of Holy Nativity and offered Water Blessing ceremony there.

 

The Primate of Gugark Diocese Archbishop Sebouh Chouldjian re-consecrated St. Sarkis Church of Shnogh village.

On December 9, the Primate of Gugark Diocese will re-consecrate the restored church of the upper monuments of Horomayr St. Nshan Monastic Complex.

The jubilee evening organized by the blessing of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, on the initiative of Lori Governor Artur Nalbandyan was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of priestly ordination and the 20th anniversary of bishopric ordination of Bishop Sebouh Chouldjian. His friends, priests, public figures, and philanthropists congratulated His Holiness. Archbishop Arshak Khachatryan conveyed the patriarchal message to him and donated a cross on behalf of the Patriarch Karekin II. 

On the occasion of the 1300th anniversary of the enthronement of Catholicos Hovhan Odznetsi, the book "Glory of Pontifical See" by Garnik Shakhkyan was published with the support of Gugark Diocese and "Lorva Dzor" Compatriotic Union. The presentation of the book was held in the village of Odzun, the birthplace of Catholicos. 

15th apartment was purchased by Gugark Diocese Charity Program called “Extend Your Hand to Your Brother” for Antoryan family. The apartment is in Lejan community, Stepanavan. 

 

Under the presidency of Diocese Primate Archbishop Sebouh Chouldjian, unified pilgrimage prayer by Gugark Diocese priests was deliveredin the historically remarkable Monastery of Haghpat dedicated to the steadfastness and reinforcement of our state and church. This year will see the 30th anniversary of the priesthood anointment of the Archbishop and the 20th anniversary of his leadership in Gugark Diocese as the Diocesan head. At the end of the prayer the Archbishop eshorted the priests to stay true to the image of Armenian priest being the true and brave pastor.
