20th apartment purchased through charity program was provided to Gugark Diocese


Charity program “Extend Your Hand to Your Brother” under the motto “Let Armenians Live to Have Armenia Live” is still on. By the blessing of Gugark Diocese Archbishop Sebou Chouldjian, ahead of the Feast of Holy Resurrection, the ceremony of handing 20th apartment to a multi-children and needy family took place.

Translators' Day in the Church of the Holy Mother of God of Tavush Diocese at Voskepar village


On the Translators' Day, Bishop Bagrat Galstanyan, Primate of the Tavush Diocese, served liturgy in the Church of the Holy Mother of God at the borderline Voskepar village. The Church of the Holy Mother of God is located in the immediate vicinity of the opponent's strongholds. It has been a month since church ceremonies are being held here.

St. Karmir Avetaran (Red Gospel) Church constructed recently in Jrashen, Gugark Diocese, was consecrated.

The Minister of Culture Armen Amiryan visited Goshavank together with journalists and construction officers to identify the progress of restoration of the roof of St. Astvatsatsin Church of this XII-XIII century historical and cultural monument. Աստվածածին եկեղեցու ծածկի վերականգնումը: Despite the fact, that the representative of “Arhovshin” company assured that they will complete this year’s work on November 25 or 26, however joint consultation of the Minister and the specialists resulted in conclusion that low air temperature is too harmful for the renovations, and all they needed was to have covers for temporary maintenance.

18th apartment will be donated within the scope of the program “Extend Your Arm to Your Brother” of Gugark Diocese.
 

St. Sarkis Church of Lorut community in Gugark Diocese was re-consecrated.


The Primate of Gugark Diocese Archbishop Sebou Chouldjian re-consecrated the historical prayer house of the village dating back to 1898 - St. Sarkis Church of Lorut village in Lori Marz.  The community of Lorut with over one thousand population did not hav any functioning church up till now. The restoration of destroyed church was a long-waited event.
