Candlelight and Sunday Divine Liturgy in Holy Transfiguration Church of Moscow
Vast number of Moscow-based Armenians took part in the Holy Resurrection Candlelight Divine Liturgy. Upon its completion, the clergy of the Armenian Diocese of Russia and Nor Nakhichevan headed by its Primate Archbishop Yezras Nersisyan blessed the Easter tables arranged in the backyard of the Holy Transfiguration Church Complex. A home blessing ceremony was held in the Prelacy. The Sunday Divine Liturgy was followed by the Love Dinner, while in the Museum “Arc” a miniature exhibition titled “Heritage of Holy Resurrection” was opened. Philanthropist Levon Hayrapetyan presented the self-portrait of Minas Avetisyan to the Church.

Priest ordination in the Holy Transfiguration Church of Moscow
On December 27, a Divine Liturgy was served in the Holy Transfiguration Church of Moscow, where Father Yezras served a priest ordination ceremony. Deacon Aramayis Grigoryan was renamed Father Hovhannes.

Cultural days of Artsakh in Moscow
Cultural days of Artsakh were wrapped up in the Diocesan Center of the Armenian Diocese of Russia and Nor Nakhichevan of Moscow. The Sunday Divine Liturgy was attended by the Artsakh Government representatives headed by the President Bako Sahakyan, as well as the Primate of Diocese His Holiness Pargev, Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador of Armenia to Russia, national philanthropists, public and cultural figures.

New Armenian Church is underway in UlyanovskOn September 1-, the Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Russia and Nor Nakhichevan Archbishop Yezras Nersisiyan consecrated the grounds of the Church to be constructed in Ulyanovsk, Russia. The prayer house is constructed with the efforts of the local community occupying around 200 sq. m. area.

Armenian community in Tambov city of Russia building a new ChurchBy the initiative of Archbishop Yezras Nersisyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Nor Nakhijevan and Russia, on June 2, the foundation of the Church to be built in Tambov were consecrated. The architectural plan is authored by Hakob Babakhanyan. The house of prayer is constructed with the efforts of the local Armenian diocese.

Armenian Church in Nizhny Novgorod was consecratedOn May 24, in the Armenian Diocese of Russia and Nor Nakhijevan, Archbishop Yezras Nersisyan consecrated the newly-constructed Holy Saviour (Amenaprkich) Church in Nizhny Novgorod. The same day the Museum located on the ground floor of the Church was opened too.

Concert of Artsakh State Academic Choir in the Armenian Church Complex of Moscow2014 is declared year of Komitas to his 145th anniversary. Recently by the blessing of Rev. Father Yezras, Artsakh State Academic Choir performed in the Armenian Church Complex of Moscow. At the concert KomitasVardapet’ folk, labor, wedding and joke songs were heard.
