Newly-constructed Holy Cross Church of Lichk community consecratedThere are 2 sacred places in Lichk community of Gegharkunik Marz – Zvaravank, dating back to XVII century and Holy Mother of God constructed in the XIX century. Both Churches are destroyed. Four years ago the residents of Lichk initiated the construction of a new Church, which was consecrated on October 14. |

Excavations in Saint Mesrop Mashtots Church of OshakanIn 2013, the excavations of Saint Mesrop Mashtots Church of Oshakan led to discovery of foundations of a V Century church. The excavations of 2014 ended up with seven meters long basement walls, which the archaeologists assume are the socles of the temple constructed on the real tomb of the Saint himself. |

Famous violin Zakhar Bron and pianist Vahagn Papyan in YerevanOn September 30, world-known violin Zakhar Bron and famous pianist Vahagn Papyan had a concert at Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall with the State Youth Orchestra. The concert was also attended by 14 year old yet very popular violin Mone Hattori from Japan, one of the students of Bron. The concert was dedicated to the 115th anniversary of Avet Gabrielyan. |
